I said nothing about the extra car and trailer and all the family driver coverage sorry I thought it was standard as salt&pepper and no extra charge....wow....and the other ones charge moreThanks for the heads up...Bushman

We've been CAA members for probably 30 years. When we bought our coach, CAA told us it would only cost something like $6.00 a year to upgrade to CAA RV. So we did that. Have never used the service for RV problems, although CAA has been quite helpful several times through the years for us with our cars and trucks.

Last year we had a problem with one of the ride height air valves in Crankbrook, BC. We called Coach Net, they found a mechanic at Frieghtliner, and he came right over and got us back on the road. We were happy. It's nice to have someone to at least find the service guy for you when you're in a strange place and don't know where to turn.

I notice no one mentions AAA Plus RV... is there a reason? That is the coverage I have on my 1985 Minnie Winnie. After purchasing it in Atlanta and driving it back to NY we did have to get towed as the belt broke. We didn't have any issues with AAA. I am new to the great world of RVing so welcome advise.

I had AAA Plus RV/Motorcycle in Southern CA. They are way more expensive with very limited service when compared to Coach-Net Platinum Service. AAA will only tow you a specific distance, while Coach-Net will tow you across the country if needed to find the right service center to fix your problem whatever it may be.

CAA is AAA in Canada.

So, in Canada we call it CAA Plus RV. When we're in the U.S.A., we call AAA. Same company.

I had it with BCAA. Will not renew in fall 2010. Where we park the RV (just 200 yards from the house) I noticed a low tire. So - could not go for our monthly 50 km trip. Phoned BCAA and got somebody on the phone, that person had no clue, what a MH was. She must have read the script from the Monitor. Wanted to send a Truck tower and tow me to KAL Tire. I told her
that I ONLY need air at this stage. She talked about a spare, that I have to pay for etc. Of course I got 'smiling' and asked for a Manager. He got me a Service Truck with air to spare. Still way to big, but he had AIR. After 2 or maybe 3 minutes it was all OK!

Looks like MOST members are FOR COACH-NET.
So - after my BCAA runs out it will be COACH-NET
Thanks for answering some of my questions (even those that I did not ask)
