Just wanted to take a minute and wish our frozen neighbors to the north, the best on this Dominion Day.

We have a whiz-bang BBQ set for Wednesday (4th) at our daughters place.

Sorry, when we lived in Toronto, it was Dominion Day.

Thanks. That was before we had:

Environment Canada
&
the provinces copied with

Tourism Nova Scotia

etc.

& PET repatriated the constitution.

So, Ken, tell me, since we've copied the concept of the Biil of Rights and retirement at 65 has been ruled 'age discrimination' by our Supreme Court, how about you. Can companies or governments make you all retire at 65?

Not supposed to have any discrimination for age, but I was laid off two weeks ago, exactly one month before I turn 60. Make you wonder???

So, when did you think you would evaporate?

BTW we hear lots of things about seniors returning to the work force, these days.

I know two who are happy to work at a lot less than the rate they used to have, for the social side of things. Their experience is much valued.
