I am Canadian born and I just can't recall that Thanksgiving Day was on October 13th. But I do recall a day to give thanks at the time but I was really too young to remember.

DriVer,,,Thanksgiving here is always the second Monday in October....thus the date floats , however it is always a Monday (as it is always a Thursday in the US).
