I just spoke with my friends in Guelph and we decided that we want to camp this summer in The Pinery. We will have a 36' Journey, a Saturn toad, and also will have to use a tent for one individual. Any suggestions on location of a camp site that will be large enough for 5 of us. It should be fairly close to the "facilities" but not too close to a noisy road. We'll be going in July or August - have to see when I can get reservations.
Thanks,

Hello Doggitvet, try this Link...Pinery P/P If this helps great. You can also go to Provincial Parks, Ontario where you will find site maps of the Pinery. As in most parks there are a variety of site sizes, to accomidate even the larger units. Provincial Parks Ontario Parks Here as well...Hope this helps....Brad

So did your tenting person do something really bad...that they have to suffer the canvas hotel?

The RV sleeps only 4 people and we will have 5 adults. The youngest gets the tent. He likes the tent so don't feel bad for him.

I now have reservations at the Pinery for Aug 15 thru 19. Was lucky to get a site. Reservations opened at 7:30AM, and most of the few large sites already were booked by 8AM when I logged on. But I now am booked for site 441, so if anyone is in the neighborhood, stop by for a cup of coffee or a coke.
