Hi Brad, got a question re Irv2 stickers, do they only come with a glue on them or are they available in electrostatic form? I had some but was concerned about them leaving marks on the RV after they had been there some time. I would not mind having some if I could put them on a window and move them from RV to RV when I trade. But I am concerned about what the glue might do to the finish on the MH.

Hello Novi: Stickers are glue type. Not to easy to trasfer from one rig to the other. Actually when removing stickers, I find if you smear Mayo on the glue, let it sit awhile, glue comes right off most surfaces. Maybe have to request more stickers for the next rig.
Electrostatic is a good idea, but I think the added cost would be too much.

Thanks Brad, I keep looking when travelling but have not seen anyone yet with IRV-2 stickers. I know they are out there somewhere. I did read a while back where one of the guys saw one and he was quite excited, it was the 1st time he had seen one. Have at admit, I have not heard of the Mayo trick. I have been using Bounce fabric sheets like some others have suggestied and darned if they don't work, who would have thought, eh!

Be nice if more people requested stickers. Be great to see them on more rigs.

I guess it does happen once in a while, I see Hitchhiker ran across someone from IRV-2 down in NC. Maybe there's hope yet.

Last year, there were quite a few comments about not seeing rv.net stickers, when rv.net has sooooooooooooooooo many members.

Well, at that time the membership was a bit over 70,000 (saw a 106,000+ figure recently), yet the stats for total rvs in North America was 7.3 million. So, a needle in the haystack.

Can an Okie stop in here...Eh? I run with an IRV2 sticker on the back of my 5er and I put on where the front tag of the truck fits since Oklahoma can not afford tags both ends of a vehicle then I get them coming and going.

I have the stickers on the back of our trailer as well as on the front propane tank cover so that people can see it from the road. We also have a MFCC Camp Sign for the site with our user name on it so that people can find us at the campfire or on the web!

I also have an Irv2 sticker on the back of our race trailer but so far the only people I have met with our stickers were from the Open Roads or Rv.Net forum.

Mike.

Dosen't really matter how many are in the RV.NET forum. You don't see any of their stickers because they've been out for a year or more. No one wants to pay to supply them.

I raised this question over at rv.net My thread @ rv.net. Dick, RVSnowbird, was much more vague than either BradW (TC Forum mod) or Bonecho (RVing in Ca. & AK Forum Mod) In fact this morning Bonecho has a 'hint' here

Clearly, the 'team' is very innovative this spring. Can't wait for the photo hosting option, I can't.

I have quite the picture for NL just waiting......
