I just dropped by to see what was happening...I haven't had much time lately to make comments.. We will be heading south next week after Boxing day. But we leave home today or tommorrow to be with family over the Christmas holiday...Joyce and I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR ..Hopefully I will find a computer at the CG we are going to and be able to join in on occasion.. Everyone stay safe and be careful..dc

Now, I tried to get this animated graphic to be hosted by IRV2, but no go.

It suits our weather.

Periods of snow tonight exactly when I'm at a cousins for the rest of Xmas.

Brad, just remember that photo I put in the snow thread (although Tuesday's high is to be +1), I think the snowmobilers may have enough soon to be happy.

Surely, Roadrunners would enjoy our day!!!

BTW if you check properties on the image, you'll see it's hosted by Image Shack. So, even if the software here turned it down for hosting, it accepts the link and the animation for posting. I haven't a clue why.

Don't you melt now, Brad!!! (with or without Christmas Cheer!!!).

Canadian fellow campers:

While we now live in Florida, some of our most memorable Christmas' were spent in Nova Scotia during the 6 years we lived there in the 60s.

We learned how to ice skate and play hockey, discovered curling and curling tournaments, walked in snow that was so cold that the snow "squeaked" as we walked on it, learned the hard way to never put out tomatoes plants in our garden before 15 June, and to make sure that our car was "plugged in" most every winter night.

But best of all was the discovery of very fine people we met and got to know and to keep as lifelong friends.

And on camping in Nova Scotia: it is stupendous! One of our favorite spots is Graves Island about 30 miles south of Halifax: http://parks.gov.ns.ca/parks/graves.htm
