MH's in FROZEN Edmonton

Last week my DW flew into Edmonton, AB and on the way to the Hotel she could see MH's at the Dealerships with slides out!!!
Temp was -46 C, that is 50 below in F...
Hope it will not hurt anything on the slides (seals etc)?

Why would it hurt the seals any more if the slide was in or out? WhaT I would not do is to try and move them if there was ice on them.

ICE

Ken, good point, but of course, snow all around the MH's and lots of snow on the slides sunroof... snowroof!!!
Good thing, we moved from Edmonton to Vancouver, BC, at least I don't have to showel snow. Just wait until the rain or sun takes it away....

I wonder if it might not be BETTER for the slides to be out - in case someone hits the wrong switch, opens the slide, and the seal has frozen solid to the frame?

The slides do not care if they are in or out temp wise. same same

However if there is snow.. Then if the slides are IN, the snow can not build up on them.

Second, Easier to heat the inside of the coach if the slides are iN (less to heat)

Thrid, they do care if they are icedup and they are moving.

Did you know that North America is having, as you may have noticed, one of the coldest years in a long time....

The rest of the world is setting record HIGHs
