I'll try again, first post did not go thru. We did the wine tasting tour in that area, lots to chose from. We camped at Fifty Point Conservation area, very nice. There is also a CG at Jordan called Dresslers, have not stayed there. Next weekend is the weekend of all the craft shows down there and there are a lot of them. We will be doing Balls Falls Conservation area one of the original shows for the Niagara Parks Commission.

Hi Brad, we have been to the Niagara area twice this summer. The first time we stayed in Riverside park about 20 minutes out of Niagara Falls on the Riverside Parkway. It was recommended to us by friends and if you only plan to use it as a place to tour out of it the park will suffice but we found the lots very small with no privacy. There was barely room to park the truck beside the trailer; the washrooms were clean and there was a laundromat but doubt if you would use the outside pool this time of year. The next trip we stayed at Rockpoint PP which is a good hour from Niagara close to Port Colborne and it is your typical PP. Some lots were close to the beach and you could see Lake Erie from them. I would probably look for a campground closer to Niagara-On-The-Lake if I were returning, it is a lovely little town. We did the wine route and toured one of the wineries and tasted the wines then drove on the Niagara Parkway to Fort Erie. It is a beautiful drive with lots of nice homes enroute. There is lots to see and do in that area including watching the boats go thru the locks at Thorold. I probably haven't helped you much but there are lots of campgrounds in the area from which to choose, just go to the OPCA website and you should find what you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply and info George. I like the area as well, but have only stayed in the KOA. Will have to explore more next year, as the 5er is down for the winter. We toured N on Lake two years ago when our son was married there. Nice town, alot like several others along the Ontario and Erie shore lines.
Thanks as well Novi..
