it used to be close do you know why there is such a difference?
|
Not sure why that is...no one can give me a good reason other than high demand. I would have thought less refining would be much cheaper leading to lower costs...????

Morning Jim...Yes, we're hoping to leave for Corpus Christie by the 5th or so. Our son goes back to Korea the 2nd and hopefully we can get our stuff together and be gone by the 5th. When ever you manage to get away have a safe journey..

Just came across a news flash on CNN;
Gas price at some SC stations: .919 a GALLON
(Hard to believe!?) For how long?

Diesel is down to 2.09 here in Walterboro SC and the gas just dropped to 1.65. I am sure it is not so good back at home.
I hope the diesel stays down in March so I can retrieve the Cougar at a reasonable cost!!

Diesel here in this part of Texas is 2.09 gal in most stations and gas ranges from 1.65-1.78 gal. How do they justify the difference from station to station? Sure beats the heck out of me. The temps here have been steadily rising. Yesterday was 80F. Nice to sit out at 8:30 P.M. and the temps are still in the low 70's. Even at 2.39gal on the way down, Ian, towing costs were reazonable compared to last year, even with the larger 5th wheel than last year.
