Some time ago you mentioned a fair I believe, at Kemptville on July 31...Is this right?

We planned a trip to Dawson this summer, but because of some stuff, we will be cutting it short as we have to be back home earlier than expected, however we will be heading west anyway and I remember your festival and if we are in the area we would like to drop by that weekend.

Hi Roadrunners, You were close. It is called Kempenfest at Barry Ont. straignt up highway 400 from Toronto or cross country depending on which way you choose. It starts on July 30 thru Aug 1. It is a hugh craft show and flea market and a fair. There is something going on continuously from 10 AM to 0100 AM. If you come up their are campgrounds just before you get to Barry a KOA and another KOA just north of Barry. I think about 20 km each. It is very crowed that weekend so I would reserve now if not too late. There is some vendor dry camping available that is not monitored and there is usually a lot of extra space but it is right along the main drag of the beach. Safe but not quiet like a campground. If you decide to come let me know and I'll keep an eye out for you.

Thanks Novi..will do. Cannot reserve as I do not know where I will be at those dates as I want to use the Trans. However if I am in the area, I will be stopping by for sure.
