The Ont Parks staff are in wage contract talks.
If the talks fail, a strike could follow within 16 days....

question:

would the strike cause the workers that collect fees to not work, but the parks still be accessable?

Some campers discovered that in the Rockies last summer, not all campgrounds were closed. Some were free!!

Does anyone know the latest info on whether or not the Provincial Parks in Ontario are headed for a strike? I haven't heard anything recently.

I would say no news is good news.

Vote on tentative settlement should have been held long ago. I may have heard something saying definite yes vote, but I don't remember. If it had been no, I'm sure we would have heard.
