Well we camped once this year...wish it was more.We are renovating the house this year, so lots to do.
We were VERY disipointed with the campgrounds.See the campground review for saskatchewan, nickle lake.
Next time i think it will be Turtle mountan in southern manitoba. Can't wait!
We are in repairs right now.The last owners were really hard on this camper.First we repaired the awning, replaced the water heater, repaired some lines, fixed the roof vent, maintained the fridge, stove, overn, and bathroom.
Now we have half the floor out and the awning off.We found out that the floor was getting soft by the door.Guess what they had had a water in the camper problum...thanks for telling us.now we are half way through replaceing the floor, and the awning is almost ready to go back on.
So so far this year we have had a bad campground, a cooler rifled through, noisy people, a truck that broke down at the campground(had to stay an extra day to fix...but had to move to another site...thanks lots huh!! funny how we could not reserve a site near friends, but they could reserve our site...after we were told no asking for specific sites.
Next time i hope to be ready for the campgrounds!Maybe we will even get to fish!!
Dh turns 50 on the 26th so we have a party to plan for at home here. Also my step daughter will be 22 on the 23rd;sopn aj 19 on the 29th(day of the party. He will be legal drinking age here);son gregs anniversary on the 1st, greg bday on the 8th(22)$ windows and a new to us door to put in the house. Then we will be going camping for sure on the last week in august.Hopefully we will camp more than this...but who know?? Hope everyone is doing great here . Wee have spent a lot of nights working on the house, and then in the pool.
