Don't you just love it when you take the RV in to have something fixed and guess what!! They can't find anything wrong and it works just perfect!! My generator started to act up on our last weekend out dry camping. So I took it in. They can't get it to misbehave. Now I can't either. It runs just fine. Maybe it just needed to be threatened?? Makes me look like an idiot.

Situation normal, that, Novi.

Computers do that too. & they can be even harder to diagnose. At least you can keep doing 'clean ups' yourself with a computer. How do you run 'system clean up with a generator?

But, at least if they could have found something wrong I could feel that the problem had been fixed. But this way I'll wait and listen and expect it to go wrong again. However, it does keep the cost down when they don't find anything wrong.

we have the same thing in the aviation world.

Its the "aura of the technician".....

starting up a helicopter and go to turn on the negitive torque bligger thing-a-ma-jig, no worky. so call out a tech and tell him, it not working see(flip switch here), and taaaa - daaaaa working like a charm.

happens all the time. Now we turn it on/off a few times ourselves first before calling for help. doesn't work though.

All the gremlins came to MY House!!! Thanks Novi????
Where do you stay in A'burg? We used to use Borrowmans Grove (Yogi Bear) but they are priced really high any more so are hinking maybe Wildwood (in McGregor ) less than 10 minutes away. Holiday Bch is nice but mosquito heaven after a rain! Lived in Walkerville (Windsor) for 50 years and have lots of family in A'burg

We stay in the students parking lot, across from the high school. It is just off the main street. We have been staying there for about 7 years now on that weekend. Quiet, no traffic and no body bothers us. There were 5 of us there this year, sometimes we have been there by ourselves. It is a very pretty little town. We always stay on site or near by and dry camp when we do the shows.

I should also add that we do have permission from the school to use that lot. Also we always get the okay from the organizer of the show to stay on site. This way we have never had an issue with anyone in 15 years.

It is a great little town...but a lot of new growth nearby and on Boblo Island is starting to change the neighbourhood a bit. I used to take groups out to the Fort every June...wonderful little museum.

Hi Ian, yes it is nice. The park area down town along the river is very well kept and beautifully landscaped. We often listen to live band concerts in the park in the evening while we are there.
