Place to boondock overnight between Brandon MB and Regina SK
We are planning a trip to Calgary in mid 2016. We will be getting to Brandon MB around 8pm, and would get to Regina around 1am. Brandon's too early to stop for us, and Regina a little late. This will just be an overnight for us, and on to our final destination. Unfortunately, there are no Wal Mart's between those two cities.
Any advice on where to stop for free between those locations? We have a travel trailer with slides that we would want to put out.

You might want to check with the Co-op Gas Bar at Moosomin. Moosomin is about halfway between Brandon and Regina. I have, on two occasions, stopped at the Co-op Gas Bar in Neepawa for overnight rest stops. On both occasions I fueled up and ask for permission to park at the back of their lot for an overnighter and was granted permission, no problem.

I'll tell you a secret spot, but please don't tell anyone else. ;-)
At (GPS co-ord's) 50.27260, -102.00649 there is a cross-over between the east and west bound lanes of the TC. In the centre is a big wide area with an entrance where some farmer who works the land between theE. & W. lanes gains access to the 'median' lands.
That's where I stop, even though I'm another day east of you it looks like both our days end is about the same place.

Or the weigh scale parking lot just east of Moosomin? Truckers stop there for the night. Or the RV dealership at Virden, Four Seasons Sales?

I was going to suggest the Co-op gas bar also, but I see someone has already beaten me to it. At the time you will be going through there it should not be a problem. I also have fueled up there and have asked for permission to park at the back of the lot. They were friendly and accommodating. Besides there is a Tim Horton's right next door too.

Most shopping malls don't mind either, if you keep your slides in and awning. Western Canadian Malls are pretty friendly to RVers, under these restrictions. Hope you have a safe trip.

Shopping malls?
The question was where to stay in the 3.5 hours between Brandon MB and Regina SK.

If we are traveling late in the evening and just want to park overnight: All of the schools are closed for the summer. Most small towns have a school.
Usually they have staff parking: lots which would be level.

Yes, that's kind of silly of me, all the towns are small between the 2 cities..
School parking lot, might be the best option.
