Hi Brad, back in November the idea for a form mascot was floated by administration, did anything come of that idea? I still think it would be a good idea many of the other forms have one. Several voted for a white polar bear and that still has my vote. I started this as a new topic because the original I think was shut down and I could not resurrect it with a reply.

Brad, try page 3 November 23/04 Driver was working on jazzing up the forms look. I do see however that the mascots that Florida Boomers and the Lake Erie form had are not there anymore. Maybe they changed their minds?

That paints an interesting picture Ken. I'm a bit more conservative, I see a big white polar bear, with sun glasses, a bright red toque and a long red scarf on yellow skis. LOL

Novi, what ever turns your crank. We were party to the original Texas Boomers adopting of the pink chicken and it followed us to Oklahoma. With some help from Fiver Driver, we got a pink chicken, Okie style...a true Native American pink Chicken.

A few thoughts re. the practicalities.

What will the size of the mascot be?

How clear will what it is be when it is reduced to fit?

Where will it be displayed?

I would have thought mascots or Forum icons would show on the the home page listing. If that is the case none of the forums have icons.

If somewhere else, may we see one, please, so we can sort of see and have those help us think.

Now, I'm going to go off and search for the image of the moose in silhoutte. I will be back with something (hopefully)

Where I found most of these. Only looked @ 20 p

Colouring book image, ie. outline

Dark image for light background

Pewter Figure Fans of other animals might like to look for alternatives here, but I couldn't get the link for the page with all of the animals to become clickable here, tooooooooooooooooooooooo long

Brown image There are some other silhouettes here too, but again I couldn't get the looooooooooong link to take.

My favourite Actually, a road warning sign in Gros Morne National Park. One can buy tee shirts and mouse pads of this.

Hey, ADMIN, I like the way the software works for handling the above situation, where you go off and find a bunch of links, then come here and make them clickable. Much less scrolling around to delete your raw data. But oh, for a preview, preview makes life easier, need praying smiley.

Anyway, just tossing out ideas for discussion.

If Admin or anyone wants to put up the images, could the be put on the thread, so one can look at thoughts and images together, not have to flip back and forth between windows, please!!!!

& if others are serious about it, maybe we can have a bunch of images to pick from. and vote on?????

If you care to you can have a look at the Great Lakes Region form they used to call themselves the "Pond Piggies" and had a fish as their logo, it is on Page 2 of their form 2nd or 3rd posting. Also Florida form used to have a logo of a pink chicken or flamingo. I do not know who did it for them, something in the back of my memory says it might have been Driver. But I have a slow speed 50 K memory these days and I might be mistaken. I like the image of the while polar bear that was used by coca cola for the olympics, if it is not copy writed or something.

Novi, You can forget about any images used by the Olympics. They have a reputation for 'no other users'.

Why don't you do what I did go to google click about the search box on 'images' input polar bear. I only scanned through 20 pages.

I can say this, something that is too kitchy cartoonish is not to my taste, comparatively new soul, though I am.

I'll go look at what you suggested.
