Based on my experiences with my good Newfie friends, I would have to say it is probably good old foot-stompin' Newfoundland tunes? How did I do?

Actually it is traditional Newfoundland music, derived from Gealic, Celtic, NewFoundland music. There are courses taught every year in Gros Morne National Park. Young people learn the music, so they can then pass it down to following generations.
