Hi Brad, the storm is still blowing down here. I've seen snow in Texas. One year just outside of Dallas Fortworth in March, what a mess it was but it did not last long.

Hey Novi....the snow stopped here...then started again . Sunday night is supposed to be the worst part of the storm.
Snow in Texas has happened several times, but like you said, it dosen't last long..

pretty uneventful here so far.

not enough to make the kids come in, or stop us from planning on jumping in the hot tub shortly.

the problem as I see it is the rain and freezing rain in the forecast. Will make tomorrow morning a nightmare.

Yup, it stopped here this afternoon and as of right now it is still not snowing. Winds are not bad but we are sheltered here in town. I think the people east of us got a heavier snowfall. If the temp. goes up and it rains with freezing rain what a mess we'll all be in.

Brad: Saddle up and git yer butts down to the southwest, played 18 holes yesterday! The weather is cooler than usual down here right now but NOTHING like what you're going through as I write this.

Oh, I have every intention to do just that. Once Christmas is past and as long as the weather stays good enough to travel out of here, I'll be GONE. With two young grandchildren its nice to spend extra time with them and family during the holidays.

It's snowing Again!! I haven't seen a Dec. with this much snow and cold for Years. It sure has been pretty though, and makes for a more normal northern Christmas. But I have had enough and will be out of here in less than 2 weeks. I'm tired of hibernating.

No snow here yet but the radio just listed all the possible forms of precipitation we may get over the next 2 days....hmmmm.....
Still undecided which vehicle to take to Az in Jan....depends on the weather forecast. Not taking the 5th wheel though. A week or so in a hotel will give us a chance to look around to see what might be good for a longer stay. Looks like I will not have the construction done by the 6th of Jan so will have to come back to finish it anyway, especially if I keep procrastinating! Grunt work I don't mind but high ladder work and a balancing act don't do anything for me anymore....

I'm driving the car south also. Leaving the MH winterized till spring. Stopped snowing now and the sun is shining beautiful day in southern Ontario, but slippery.

Not so nice now....about 10 cm wet heavy snow and 20 knot winds off the lake (North). Arizona is looking better all the time. I hope to leave in about a week.....gotta be there by the 13th and no desire to rush.
