Any one from Southern Ontario get out for the Spring Trout? Son went out, caught a nice Brown and Speckled yesterday. Local streams and rivers are super busy.

Steady stream of boats with planers out our front window for the last 3 days....Bluewater salmon derby is on and seems like lots of folks catching lots of fish. The water temp is about 3 so they are mostly staying in close to shore...10 t0 18 feet of water. Walleye are running in the river.

Local river here (Ganarasks River) seems be yielding up a lot of good fish. First day, usually brings hundreds of hopefull anglers. I've even seen boondockers in their truck campers along the river. A great way to do it.

When does your season start there rockman?

Brights Grove... is that on Lake Ontario,Groveite. Not exactly sure where that is. Walleye, my favorite...

Brad it is at the bottom end of Lake Huron...I can see the lights of Port Huron on Mi side from the boathouse . Also the orignal home to Mike Weir....Masters champ, but he lives mostly in Utah now I believe.

OK Thanks Ian...didn't know where Brights Cove was located. Real close to the cheaper gas there as well....
