Bushman, I have friends in North Carolina right now. They are thoroughly enjoying it.

I learned long ago, if I really want to go, I go. If I waited to team up with someone else, I could wait quite awhile. & break downs are so far between, that well, you get help when you need it. I've gotten an Emergency Road Service and I've gotten the cell phone. The advice I got on that was to make sure to get ERS that was for RVing. I tested for living here in Newfoundland. Some, ie. CAA, did not measure up. We each have to do our own checks on that. But with those, in hand I head out and enjoy.

If your puppy will be of fair size, he or she will also give you security.

I hope you have a good trip.

We hope to head southwest the first week of Feb after a couple of days in Cinci for a 50th wedding anniversary. Been looking at Tx ,Arizona, and maybe Nevada....just for a month as we have to be back early March. Sure wish this gray weather would break!!!I'd ALMOST prefer some of that white stuff!

I have done it a couple of times....fortunately on lightly travelled roads and for 50 miles or less. The 4 wheel drive makes a huge difference to stability but the thought of stopping suddenly is not a pleasant one. My choice would be to pull off and stay overnight at a motel!

-12'C/10'F tonight Bushman. Is that good enough to get your rig home?

Are we to wish you bon voyage?

Novi can connect, so you can too. If nothing else, there are public libraries with Internet access!!!! We'll look for you.
