Do you mean that litterally Brad, like weight loss, or do you mean things like outside lights?

& I have only two Christmas presents bought. Somehow, I just didn't think of it while travelling.

LOL

Do y'all do any touring when your in southern climes? The only time I could tolerate being down there would be later in the year. For example, today Pensacola, FL is having rain with a high of 34'C. Raleigh, NC has sunny periods and 22'C. Now, that's much more reasonable.

While south in the winter, all we do is tour. Last year in Southern Georgia temps were around 85F in Feb. for a day, then dropped to 68-74F. Tour Old Plantations, shopped, even popped down in to Talahassee Fla. one day. Over to Savannah, out to Jekylle Island...pretty much go where ever..
This year. not sure where we'll end up.....maybe Texas!!!!!! Oh! the joys of being retired

night temperatues I don't like fan noise, so I would have 'fun' with AC in a camper. & I can't sleep when it's above 21'C/69'F.

But Texas and Louisiana, now. I'm sure they'd love to have your $, especially after Katrina and Rita, as long as you're not hanging around destruction and construction. I've heard good things about coastal campground in both states in the winter months.

Hi, they used to have some very nice coastal camping along the gulf area Destin over to Bay St. Louis. Although in general Jan-Mar it was a bit too cool for my liking, not to say they don't get some warm weather during that time period.

If I can get 68-74 F in Jan. Feb.there as opposed to -20-0C here I'll take it. Granted, this year may not be good along the western Gulf Coast....maybe head to Florida. Any place there is no snow.

Aw common Brad, I used to live in Sudbury and outside of it. -20,normal, but it's a dry cold. Go out skiing with a jersey over your wool long johns in -20. But -40, that I would call cold.

& for going south, if you say you want to see places while the temperatures are tolerable, that's sensible. But no snow, no snow means you're deprived, disadvantaged.........
