**** Bill Bennatt: Welcome to our forum. Congrats on your first time long trip. Milage of your trip will be around 2252 miles one way. If you travel interstate hy, the shortest route would be I27-I40-I25-I90-I15 into Alberta, then up to Jasper. Sounds like a great trip, through some of the best most scenic areas in both our countries. Your date of arrival in Banff-Jasper area is very "do-able". Good Luck on your trip, and really ENJOY! Sounds Great.

P.S. I'm sure some of the other members can offer tips as well

Once into Alberta travel to Lethbridge then on to Hiway 3 stopping at Fort Mcleod to see the RCMP museum. Then west on hiway 3 to Hiway 22 go North on 22 through some of the most beautiful scenery in Alberta This road goes to hiway 1 bypassing Calgary then on to hiway 1 to Banff. Enjoy your trip.
