I am wondering if any of you snow birds spend any part of the winter around Walterboro South Carolina? We spent a few weeks near there last spring and found it quiet and convenient!

Not me Ian...is that near Myrtle Beach? We had planned on Galveston TX again this year...but that may not be a GO this year. If the economy holds up we may have to return to San Antonio again.

Brad it is quite a bit south of the Beach....about 40 minutes to Charleston SC and 75 minutes to Savannah Ga. Truly the middle of nowhere but really nice people run the CG. Nothing for tourists or kids to do on site, not even bathroom or laundry facilities but very quiet and reasonable (I hope.... after looking at the markets and $ rate this week!!!)
We are considering parking there for the winter and commute by car (easy on the fuel).
