Hi Brad
It is too cooooooold in Canada Eh. We are a heading south and it got up to 28 today while going into Texas, had to turn on the air. If the Mexicans don't stop shooting people, we will be heading back to Canada very quickly.
Is that moose heading north or south????

The moose is supposed to head for Brownwood TX in middle of January for the rest of winter. There are a few details to work out, but every thing should be a GO!
Enjoy your winter Dave....and do keep us posted.....Brad

Put the camper to bed for the winter last weekend. Over the winter do some planning for next year's trips and possisibly due some trailer mods and fixes.

Definately a dull time of year for us as well. Hopefully we'll drain our "pink stuff" out somewhere between here and Brownwood TX in January.

Brad, one of the things we would like to add to the TT is a under the counter coffee maker but seem to have a problem finding one. I know Black & Decker did make one a few years ago but have not seen any lately. Walmart used to carry them but do not anymore. Hard to find these days.

Hi All, just checking in, was a great summer for us but it's time to put the big toy away. Doing the winterization, have to get it safety checked very soon, then I'll dump the tanks and get the new registration sticker for next year.

Cheers Willis

Hi Brian, about the lack of under the counter coffee maker I'd re think about doing that. My concern would be for the effects of steam from the cofee maker on the wood cupboards if that is where you planned to mount it.

Cheers Willis

Good answer Willis, I was thinking along the same lines. Maybe there's a reason they aren't that readily available.

Hey Willis

Do you safety check it often? Is this some kind of N.S. Law that requires periodic safety inspections?

The Black & Decker Spacemaker is still available. I happen to see one last week in a B&D store. We have been using one for 2 years under our wood cabinets and have not had any problems. We did have issue with original unit, and called B&D and they got us to cut off plug and mail to them and they gave us a brand new unit, no questions asked. Make sure you have room. It is 11" wide X 10.5" deep with a little more room needed at rear for cord. This is only used, of course, when we are not near a Timmy's. We are serious coffee drinkers and this was one of the first items to be installed when we bought the coach.
