Dear RVing friends, just got back (2nd time in 2 weeks) from a Circle Pac Tour with our RV (Sunshine Coast, Vancouver Island).
You can buy the Circle Pac Ticket (15% Discount, BC Seniors over 65 FREE during the week Mon - Thu), when you check in at a Pay Booth at BC Ferries.
We made the following trip:
Horseshoe Bay - Langdale, drove to Earls Cove and waited for the Ferry.
Earls Cove - Saltery Bay,
checked a few days into Kent's RV Campground, just a few Kilometers down the road, once you are off the Ferry.... a very peaceful campground...You get all the fresh air you need. Water is clear like out of a tap. A few days later we drove into Powell River, a very peaceful and friendly town. Waited for the BC Ferry to Comox.
Powell River - Comox
drove up to Black Creek, BC
stayed 4 days at the Pacific Playground....had a River Lot and could watch all the time 10 Eagles... right in front of the RV. In the Back you had the little Yacht Harbour. After 4 days it was time to go back Home via BC Ferries
Duke Point - Tsawwassen
Our 29 ft RV was only $ 282.10 for the complete trip... 160 miles and over 5 hours of Ferry riding on 4 different ferries. A B-Train is already just under $450.00 one-way.
A nice few days off.
