what am I missing??

Okay, I followed the directions, I think, on how to add an avatar. I got to step 4 clicked on properties, now what? I did not see further directions so clicked "ok" but nothing happened, am I being impatient or just dumb?

There are several steps in the FAQ after step #4:

1. Upload your RV picture to the photo album. (Note: wait until you receive confirmation that it was approved)

2. Locate the picture in the "RV Photo" album.

3. Right click on the thumbnail with your mouse.

4. Click on "Properties".

5. Highlight the URL that appears in the center of the frame.

6. Right click on it.

7. Click "copy".

8. Log into the iRV2 Forums.

9. Click on Go>>My Space>>Profile. (Go is located on the blue bar above the 'Welcome' message.)

10. From the Member Profile page, click on "View/Edit Complete Profile".

11. Click the "Edit" tab located to the right of "Avatar/Picture URL".

12. In the Avatar Selection pop-up window, click on Custom Avatar.

13. Paste the URL you copied in step #7 into the Custom Avatar URL box.

14. Click on the "Update Avatar" button.

Without attempting to deflect Novi's query, is there anything that can be done to fix the Photo site?

When I click on any given photo, the photo is displayed; and underneath the photo the following option is presented:

Photo Details

Poster: roadrat (see this users gallery)

But when I click on "see this users gallery", all I ever get is:

"You do not have permission to view the images in this category"

Within that context, I get the very same message even when logged in, and attempting to view my own photos.

Can this be fixed?

This is a known issue, and "Warpath" is working on it.

Thanks for the info Richard I kept hunting and did find the other steps eventually. I put the URL in the avatar area of the profile this eve maybe that will do it.

Thanks for the input guys, looks like I need to get a better picture of our beagle as soon as she gets home from the animal hospital and is feeling better.
