Hey TW!!
Say,..... where is Horseshoe Bay? Is it right in NE Vancouver? When we visited Vancouver a number of years back, we were driving around and stumbled into this wonderful little community surrounding a beautiful little bay in NE part of the city and, if I recall, just below a mountain with a ski park on top that we also drove up to. Might that be the Horseshoe Bay you've mentioned.
Sure was an attractive spot, although when driving around the bay to the end of the street all the little homes sure looked packed in. It seemed like our kind of place!!!....even though you'd never get our rig in there!!! Steve & Lynette

Still at home too. Changed the filters and oil last weekend and will pull out the coach and try to find all the grease nipples this weekend. Someone mentioned 247 or so grease nipples. Could be a couple of cases of beer and a warm afternoon job if the snow ever stops flying. The spring has been more like fall here. 36 more days until we start to make our way south and our holidays begin.

OK, we just got back from the Circle Pac Tour:
Horseshoe Bay (where Highway # 1 meets the ferry in West Vancouver to Vancouver Island),
over to the sunshine coast, up through Gibson and on to Powell River.
We loved Powell River, quiet little town, very fresh fish, some baer warnings. Stayed a few days at Willingdon Beach Campsite. A very nice RV Park. Over to Comox and back via Duke Point to the Mainland. Between Comox and Duke Point (about 108 km we counted only 20 RV's, only 1 Rental???) By buying the circle pac you save about 15% on the fare.
We'll go in 2 weeks again..... we like this summer lifestyle a lot!

RVgreetings
TW

Well tomorrow morning we should have been on the road but alas we'll still be at home. I figure I'm about two weeks behind schedule as the MH sat on the lot at the truck shop waiting for brake repairs.
Today I finished mounting the modified steps, new kitchen floor and beams. Plugged all the water entry places I could find so a final sanding and painting will soon be in order.
So in the next two weeks shoe rack to be installed, build a frame and mount the little generator on the back. Change oil and filter, check spark plug torque, de-winterize wash the winter grime off and wax. Check tire pressures and torque wheel nuts. Gee RV'ing sure is fun
Cheers
Willis

Hallo all Canadians out there.

How many of you are on this great web-site?
What are your plans for camping this summer?
Have you got any days left to leave your Province or did you spend all your days wintering in the south?

We are heading to the east coast via Bar Harbor MA, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and an extended stay on PEI.

Hey NALSO.....was actually thinking of going to Bar Harbour in July. Blueberries should be ready then. When you pass through N.B.....do check out St.Andrews. Take a trip to see the "Old Sow" whirlpools created by the incoming/outgoing tides. Enjoy your trip...Brad

We have found a nice RV park just north of St. Thomas, Ontario. It is hot and humid here which we are not accustomed to. Have not had to run the A/C yet, but I think today it may have to come on. They have the best pizza here (Capri), fabulous french fries at Mackies in Port Stanley and a Wednesday night all you can eat yellow perch dinner in Talbotville for $12.99.
Life just doesn't get much better.
Heading back to the wet (west) coast sometime near the end of July and will catch the Newmar International rally on the way home and possible a stay near Sturgis to see all the biker's.
