Latest weather forcast predicts continued above average temps for the next 4-6 weeks in T.O. area. Put that "Pink Stuff" away and make the most of the continued warm weather. There's camping to do.

Hi brad03ca,

Thanks for the checklist! It's the same workflow I have for my slide-in.

I noticed you wrote "You don't EVER want the tanks to be MT, even if they are supposedly clean and dry."

Is this for the gray and the black tanks? Is this so seals don't dry out? I've been leaving mine dry for the past 3 years...

Hey Dave: Actually I didn't write the winterizing steps, just posted them for convenience. But,.. I personally leave AF in the tanks (insurance) to keep seals moist. I figure its cheaper to dump a few cups in, rather than replace seals or valves. ...Brad

My tanks are never MT......because if you leave them dry as a bone, there is always the chance that the valve seats on the faucets will ice up, condensation or whatever and come spring time, you'll have the pleasure of changing them. Been dere, done dat.

I've been rving for 32 years and m tanks are often empty and when I winterized they were empty for 6 or 6 months. No problems, ever.

Some new rvs sit for a year or tow with empty tanks.
