Dry rot

I have an 85 King of the road. My first, there is dry rot in four places. Any advice or help would be appreciated!!!

Dry rot is a dirty word! The rotted wood must be cut out, it has to be cleaned with bleach, and then replaced. There are a few problems with dry rot -- one, the integrity of the wall or floor where it is found (it will eventually give way) and two, the black mold that accompanies the dry rot is terrible for your health! Unfortunately, I know this as our coach is in the shop getting the dry rot removed!

If the dry rot is not too bad, you can use a product called Git-Rot which is a very thin epoxy resin to fill the area.

You can mix it with saw dust to help fill the worst areas.
