Hey all you western iRV2'ers -- are any of you going to the FMCA's San Juan Serenade Rocky Mountain Ramble in Farmington NM Oct. 3-6?

I just paid my registration fee, and am looking forward to traveling from Utah this fall to see what NM's red rock country looks like (as we have lots of our own here!)

I hope to meet some of you there!

Where are the holding this? Like where in Farmington, I live here and I have no idea where they would park a bunch of FMAC.

Hey, I don't know if any of you are fans of Tony Hillerman books, but I have long wanted to do a "Hillerman Tour" of the places in the desert Southwest where the Legendary Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn and Sgt. Jim Chee of the Navajo Tribal Police solved their murder mysteries.

This would be a perfect time. When I visited Mesa Verde last year, I bought the Tony Hillerman's Indian Country Map and Guide, which shows where many of those locations are.

I would have to do it BEFORE the FMCA gathering. Anyone interested?

That could be a nice tour but to see them all would take a little time, places are spread out a bit. There is some beautiful country to see those areas. I will be working during that time so I won't be able to particapate.
