OK folks its starting to cool off so we need to start to thinking about camping. We got us a generator now so I can handle a few days with out power as long as we pick a cool spot.

Lets go put those thinking caps on and lets do this. Its been a few years so we are way over do.

Hi Jim this is Ed from the afnash group we will be going to Williams on Fri 22th and staying at Kaibab Lake campground. We stayed one night there a couple of weeks ago and now going back for the weekend. No hook ups but water in camp and its cool and close to the lake. Will have to run the heater I think 22 degs at Grand Canyon so the news said so will be taking my generator to make sure the batteries stay up. Will check posts for any other places. See you later.

How about an irv2 / AFNash combined get-together at Lake Rosevelt at the GrapeVine group CG?

Hey Ed and Ken Couldn't make the 22nd but a Nash/iRV2 camp out sounds super. We had a lot of fun at Roosevelt the last time. Its a group site and all who attend split the cost. I think we paid $6.00 a night the last time . So anyone interested lets hear from you as to when would be a good time.

Thanks Ken,

Like I posted above, we are ready.
We need a date and who wants to come. lets get some dates and if I get the info on who to talk to I will set it up. I had some stuff left over from the iRV2 rally welcome bags so we can pass that out and if I can find a Sponsor (for all you lurkers) (Don, Bill Bob, and you too Mike)maybe we can do a give away from all that attend.

Lets camp!!!!!!!!

I'd be interested just need to know the date. We have vacation plans for the 14-22 October (thinking of heading to Napa).

If it fits we'll be able to make it.

See ya,

Olan & Billie

Hey Olan;
I was thinking about the last weekend of Oct. but thats party weekend. So we should think of a time that will give us the most campers and that will give us time to get it together. I know the Nash group dose a Thanksgiving get together and I didn't want to infringe on that mainly because some folks might have family plans. Cheri and I were thinking of coming to that one , might have to go to Cheri's moms but will be back for the rest of the weekend.

Sounds like you're well on the way toward having something to give away, with the stuff you had left over from last year...maybe have a chinese auction where everyone brings something.

Mike Darnell (Islapp) is very busy with trying to get some sponsors on board for the National Rally, wouldn't want to go to the "well" too many times...

Looking forward to seeing you all in Branson for '07!!

That date sound great for Rosevelt lake. Had a good time up at the Kaibab camp ground but it closes on the 1st of Oct. The fishing was good and was a bit cold it but was a change. Will watch for more info.

OK I real new around here cause only a dummy will drive up Hwy 87 especially someone who hates highth's. Anyway I suppose that Roosevelt is for you hardy campers that don't need electricity. Right? Is that because you all pack big gererators.?
As a new pop-up owner, well soon anyway and no I don't have a generator. But do need power to run my electric ceramic heater. So as much as I would love to come camping nd meet all you guy's that I always read about here I just may have to pass.
