Need help finding Campground around Austin TX in January

Hi,

We are starting out on our fulltime adventure in January and are learning very quickly we need to plan ahead a little more to find monthly spaces in some locations.

We have been calling campgrounds around Austin and haven't found anything open for a monthly space in Jan except for one place that is about double the price of all the others.

Here are some of the places we checked with so far:
Pecan Grove (They have space but are expensive)
Carefree (no space)
Hudson Bend (no space)
Sunset RV (no space)
Lake Travis Inn (no space)
La Hacienda Estates(no space)
Armadillo RV Park (Left a message)
Covenant Canyon


Can you recommend any other campgrounds that would be good to check with? Or other areas that are a little farther out from Austin but still accessible with our TOAD? We want to stay for a month because we have friends in the area.

Have you tried Mckinney Falls State Park just south of Austin?

East View......Georgetown maybe it's Round Rock
