If you sliped at the "Top of the World" it would be your last. It's an easy trail and the view makes it worth the trip!

An easy trail gets you to Gemini Bridge. After a "Jeep" drove off it a few years back they closed it to driving across. It is still worth a look. There are NO GAURD RAILS so from the time I park I hold my grandsons hands.

There is no Gate to pay an entry fee if you take the north entrance into Arches NP. You will pass through an old homestead and be able to drive to Tower Arch, most visitors walk an hour+ to get there. Yes it is legal to go that way into the park!
Salt Flat road in the park (bottom of pic.) will get you to the main park roads and Arches.

No matter how difficult or easy the trails, from Greenday in Area BFE to Tusher Tunnel, Moab is a hoot!

It's all fun and games till somebody breaks an axle.
Then the adventure begins getting them out!

We are currently staying at the OK RV Park, we've been here for 5 nights. A little cool at nights but excellent sunny days, shorts and t's. This is not a fancy campground but everything is here and it is clean and neat. The wifi is fine most of the time. There is hardly anyone here and I can imagine it would feel different if the campground was full, as they tell me it will be for Aprril and May. They are a passport America campground and we are paying less than $20 for our full hookup. It is 4 miles out of town but it is peaceful and the views are spectacular in every direction. Enjoy Moab, I love it here.

Pinz6x6,
Looks like you had a very good time. Every time I see pictures or videos of Moab, I am ready yo load up and go there. I hope I have just as much fun as you did in the pictures besides the broken axle. Awesome pictures.
Srydve,
I hope when we go it is not too hot and too crowded. We have reservations at OK RV park. I have heard all good things about them. I am jealous because I am not there.
Chris

Did Moab meet your expectations? Favorite trail? We passed through on our way to and from Yellowstone.

Yes it did meet my expectations and more. We played for seven days straight and from morning to late evening. I am ready to go back. My favorite trail was probably metal masher. I really enjoyed the view from the top of the world. I also enjoyed trying to make it to the top of LaSal Pass. We made it to 9515 feet and I buried the Jeep in the snow.
I also did some playing on the way westward in Texas in the Canadian river and in Alamosa Co on Madeno Pass.
We ended up going all the way to the west coast and I we hit every thing in between we could. It was the best trip I have ever taken and I think we are going to take a month each summer now and go somewhere. The Kids kept asking if we could camp another night. They did not want to go home. Neither did I.
Thank You to everyone who gave us information.
Chris
