It seems the year has been flying by because we are getting close to Quartzsite 2010.

I am now curious - how many folks from iRV2 actually show up with planned gatherings - or are most folks just going down on their own...

Howdy!

We plan on leaving Texas in after Thanksgiving and headed to Q until it warms up.

Cheri and I are planning on heading down there to spend the week.
See you there.

I realized that the dates were not on this post so I have added them. It will be Jan 16 - 24, 2010.

Both, going down on my own, will attend a gathering while I am there, ans just spend some time in the desert on my own before spending some time in Yuma, then on to Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson.

MM, We had decided we would make it this year and stay with the Monaco group. Well I mentioned the trip to our friends and now four of us are going. But we will stay somewhere nearby as we have a mix of rv's. Last year we stayed up the road and came down to visit, but most were off doing other things. Hope to catch up with you guys.

MM,

I am a prior Monaco Owner, my first Motorhome was a 76 Monaco Class C, 24 footer, great product. Had it until 89, up-graded in 89 to a new 28' Safari XLT which owned until 2005, wore it out. Bought a new 30' Holiday Rambler in 05, didn't work out so Newmar hijacked me in 2007. So see I do have a history with Monaco and Monaco products, must be why I keep sticking my 2 cents in!

Thought I would try to stop by to meet the infamous MM, will just be on the other side of 95 while your group is there!

Spike

Jim...I actually made up a "Google Map" with some photos and the exact location of where we were last year.
Take a look at it here! I also have marked where the Alpine Group meet along with the general area of the Newmar group. (Can anyone from Newmar email me with closer coordinates??)

I will certainly add any other groups to the map if they PM me with the information.

Spike-come on by! Heck... who knows...you may find the Monaco group having so much more fun then the Newmar group - that you could decide to stay!

Here are the cordinates for the Tiffin group:

The entrance coordinates are N33.626541, W114.216893

I am adding the location you gave me to the map -but that coordinate takes me to the entrance of Las Posas South -but not the actual location of where your group meets. I can change the spot at anytime if you give me a different one!

I look forward to meeting you also!
