Sacramento mail address

G'day!

my RV is currently nicely stored in Sacramento, CA. As I'm living overseas - and working aboard a cruise ship, I have some difficulties to get online orders to the RV.

Does anyone know a place in Sacramento that'd receive online orders for me so that I could pick em up when I'm with the RV again?
I do know some mail forward services, but I won't need a monthly service or anything, just a one-time address to ship a few things (incl. two big solar panels) to...

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Matt

One of the services the UPS store at 5716 Folsom Blvd,
Sacramento, provides is "Package Acceptance" : https://sacramento-ca-2034.theupssto...campaign=Local,
I suggest you call them to see if they will accept one-time shipments...(916-451-8280).

BTW the United States Postal Service, (USPS), will hold packages MAILED to you "c/o of General Delivery" for as long as 30 days at any U.S. Post Office you choose.

Have the sender of the package address the package like this (using the street address and zip code of the post office you choose):
YOUR NAME
GENERAL DELIVERY
2121 BROADWAY
SACRAMENTO, CA 95818-9999
(Note: The 5 zip code numbers designate the post office and the 9999 means general delivery).

Careful of this feature. The USPS will also accept Fed-ex and UPS shipments but will charge the freight rate on the accepted package as if the package had been mailed at the local post office . This became a problem for us using Amazon Prime free shipping as we have no control which shipping partner Amazon chooses to use. The work around for this is to ship to "PO Box General Delivery" then Amazon is forced to use USPS as UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. Do not know about Fed Ex as they have Smart Post.

You can also try;
Downtown Mail Service
Address: 1017 L St, Sacramento, CA 95814
Phone: (916) 442-3734

They held mail and a package for me while I was traveling.
