We are going to visit the kids and our new grand daughter in Oregon at the end of August. We were planning to go up the 5 to 97 and then over 84, they are in north-east Oregon. Then coming back down on the 84 to the 15 home.

Has anyone been on these roads? What can I expect, and would it be a problem in a motor home?

Thanks for the info, it looked like a good adventure road to us. We are new to the class A coach thing and this will be our first "real" trip in it. We havent taken it over 200 miles from home yet.

mountainkowboy, I have driven our motorhome over the route you are planning several times, and in both directions. You will have no problems, although 15 gets a little boring on the return leg of your journey. Also quite a bit of traffic in Salt Lake City area of 15.
I have a 32 footer on a W-22, and pull a Suzuki Grand Vitara from CA also.

Enjoy
