Where to go now??

Ok - so I'm in Albuquerque and loving it - trying to see everything I can . . .

I've got to decide whether or not to head to Demming to the LoW Ranch for a while or go through Gallup and attend the balloon festival there - which means I get to stay here another month and travel around the area . . .

If I go to Gallup, I'll drive down through monument valley to Phoenix . . . if I go to Demming . . . well, I go to Demming!!

Since I missed the ABQ balloon festival I REALLY wanna see some balloons!! Anyone taken that trip in December? I'm a bit concerned about snow/ice etc. and know NOTHING about that area.

If you want to go through mounement valley, may want to come up to farmington then work your way to Phoenix. Gallup is way south of the valley. I would suggest a day in farmnington them drive throuh the valley on the way to Flagstaff spend a day then head for Phoenix.

Hey Ken when is it scheduled for, I didn't hear about it. If it Thanksgiving we will not be able to attend, it seems our daughter in law may be having twins the Friday after so we may be in NM.

No my Mon and Dad are staying in town so we are going to have Thanksgiving here at the house. I had been planning on coming down if they went out of town as usual but after some health problems they aren't traveling.
