My wife and I are thinking of going down to Zion River Resort in a couple of weeks for four days to ride the motorcycle through the park. Any input good or bad on this RV Park would be appreciated.

We've heard great things from other RVers about this park. We were in Zion in April and didn't stay here. But, next time we will. We drove by on our way out of town, it looks very nice....right on the river. It's a bit out of town, though. You'll have to drive a bit to town to shuttle to the Park. Have fun!

From April through October, Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is accessible by shuttle bus only...no private vehicles, including motorcycles, allowed.
You can, of course, travel SR-9 and the road going up thru Kolob Canyons.

We stayed At the Zion River Resort 3 years ago. Beautiful Resort. Most spots are pull-throughs, with a few back-in's near the river. Well landscaped. Have lots of quarters if you plan on using their showers. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A7E,
We also stayed at ZRR. We chose a backin site right next to the Virgin River. We backed in right under a giant Cottonwood tree. IIRC we had shade most of the day. The backins are not paved, at least they weren't in '05.
