Y"All --

In the first week of Oct 05 I need to go to Bozeman for a week. Since I haven't been in Montana with my "Doll" (a.k.a. 40 ft Newell) I was wondering if some of you (a.k.a. aboriginals) have some pointers where to stay?
Since this is a business trip, I'll go by myself, so:
If you have a driveway or a spot to let me park, I'll be more than happy to reimburse you as my 'RV-Lord' (pre-paid boondocking)

=;->

Willy, I recommend the KOA. It ajoins a nice thermal hot water spa.

It's on the west side of Bozeman.

N8353C is registered as a B17. Yours?

The Bozeman KOA is a good bet. We've stayed there a number of times. They have some "back in the woods" sites but the full hookup pull-throughs are excellent sites.

Be glad you have a Piper twin. Think of the fuel economy (OK, now THAT's a misnomer ) and maintenance costs you'd have flying one of those things. Unfortunately that was always my favorite plane. My dad's best friend was a captain of one of those and he lost a couple over Germany from flak and fighters. The first time he escaped to fly again but the second time he wound up at the Stalag where "The Great Escape" had just occured. The guards were really hard on the POWs after that and this time he had to wait for the Shermans to arrive at the front gate before he got out. Still, when my dad was still flying I'd love sitting in Piper's Twin Comanche and that was my favorite "private" plane. Still, that B17 sure would look good in my driveway.

thx for all replies guys!

sorry, couldn't answer earlier. We had to race out of New Orleans.
Sitting in a library to find out whats next.
Our coach is our 'live boat'. The rest is gone. 6 feet under. Looters probably will pick up the rest.
