Hi All, We are planning a trip at the end of September that includes Crater Lake. Any suggestions on campgrounds would be much appreciated. So far I am looking at the Diamond Lake campgrounds. But has anyone stayed at Crater Lake RV resort in Fort Klamath? It looks kind of interesting. Thanks in advance!!

Karen and Bob,

We stayed at Crater Lake RV Resort. It sounds big but is quite small, holding about 15 RV's. We were unfortunate in that we were able to stay only one day. The property is beautiful and we were parked right on the stream. If I recall correctly all sited were on the stream.

They have since added a few more cabins, but I don't think it will hurt the ambience of the place.

We would without doubt stay there again. Here is a posting of our review with some pictures.
