hello folks,

As the title alludes to I'm looking for a spot to park where I can actually work on my RV for a few days. Not camp so much... just to park and boon dock will be fine. Water and 120V would be wonderful but not needed.

A secure place to leave things out while I'm in process is the main thing. As mentioned in a few other threads I'm in the middle of some renovations and I've gotten to the point where I need to park, dismantle a few things and set up a "pile 'o crap" until I get the work done and can reinstall.

If all goes VERY well then two days will be enough.
It never does... so lets say for up to a week.

I'm in PORTLAND right now.

If you have such a spot or know of one I'd really love to hear about it.
Thanks.

Camping Word offers free RV Parking. Especially if you need to get some parts. They are in Wilsonville. Also if you happen to be a member of the Elks they have low cost campsites where they may not mind you doing a little maintenance. To lodges close to you may be the Sherwood Elks or the Vancouver Elks. Good luck

Go east on 84 to Rufus. After exiting 84 go under the freeway and then left at the "Y" which will lead you to a old gravel pit now controlled by (I believe) the forestry department so is a 2 week limit of free parking right on the river.

This person ended up renting a storage locker in Spokane to off load tools and materials and all the other crap in the boxes down below...
and lined up a local shop to make a few things.

Found a good upholstery shop there too so while I was at it had the D&P seats redone. Looks good.

All told about two weeks there. Boondocked most nights in the industrial park (with permission) and sometimes with water and power.
