Does anyone have information about the Fish Creek area - have the bears shown up yet? We were there in 2006, but it was the end of August and first part of September. We will be there in about a week.

Thanks for any info

We returned home on the Cassiar in mid-July and noticed a great deal of bear scat on the highway. I would imagine if the fish are running, you will see bear in and around Hyder.

We stopped in Hyder 2 weeks ago and just by luck saw a grizzley come out of the undergrowth grab a salmon and return. They are now charging $5.00 unless golden age
