Hi All,
I know we are a little late, but we are looking for recommendations for an RV Park or campground with at least electric, water and RV dump site for four rigs for the Labor Day Weekend. Ideally within 150 miles of the Portland metro area. Other than that we aren't too particular.
Thanks,

Jhlady,
You didn't mention which direction you wanted to head... the coast, the mountains, along the Columbia... however, as you are aware there are a host of state parks (w/elec & water) and private parks that furnish full hookups throughout your state.
I'd suggest looking at state parks near the Columbia, and I can recommend Deschutes River Rec. Area, where the Deschutes empties into the Columbia. It has all you've asked for.

Thanks Paul,
Almost all the state parks in Oregon are already booked up and the reservation system isn't very helpful in finding the ones that still have sites available. We ended up at the Wandering Spirit RV Park in Grand Rhonde, Or which is on the way to the Oregon coast at Lincoln City. We can use that as a base camp and venture out from there all up and down the coast.
Thanks again for chiming in!

If you stay at the Wandering Spirit you can catch a shuttle to the casino ;D

I agree this is a nice place to spend a couple days or so. Just wanted to correct one minor point, there is no dump station. The nearest is at Maryhill State Park in Washington, just across the bridge. We usually stop there on our way anywhere on the East Side.
