Fairgounds around here have limits. I need month-to-month, for 6-8 months. Roamer's Rest is full up on those spaces. That would have been the best location for me, as far as an RV park, since it's close to my house. Aside from the age restriction, they simply have zero space available.

Polk County Fairgrounds:
"Self contained RV's have a limit of 14 days in any 30 day period, while tents and non-self contained RV's have a limit of 5 days in any 40 day period." I.e., NOT month-to-month spaces.

I appreciate all the help! I'm expanding my search as recommended.
Sorry about the limits at Polk County. The reason I thought of them as when we were there, there was 3 or 4 log truck drivers staying there from Southern Oregon. Figured they were there for several months. Call 'em and beg?

I assume you are checking Craigslist?

Update: change of plans. I found a good situation in Warrenton (near Astoria) and will be here for a couple of months. One thing I've quickly realized about this whole RV thing is that adaptability and a positive outlook are essential traits of the successful full-timer. So . . . going with the flow . . . out here in Clatsop Country. And on that note, I'm totally groovin' on my new lifestyle in/with Honey Crystal, my 1979 "Vintage" Holiday Rambler Motorhome (named by my young daughters). Album I'm currently listening to: The Cars -- Candy-O (1979 ).

RRR, I did follow up on those last suggestions you made and neither will work (the one guy never responded), but thank you from the bottom of my heart to you, and all others here who made helpful efforts!

Peace.

Give me the usual info requested of RV renters, for security check, and I may be able to help you out. Water, 30/50A service, sewer connect, what's your monthly offer?
