If you plan on attending please email me at jackgibbs@q.com will get more sites if needed. I hope they are.

Park will provide us a meeting room at no cost. If weather is good we can use the cabana. (see site map)

If you have any comments or recommendations PLEASE email those to me also.

Larrygrandpa and Frankdamp are working up a list of things to do in the area, if you know of anything please let us know.

Will provide a list of each attendee to everyone, therefore, when you reserve a site again I need the information.

Thousand Trails/Naco is a membership group for TT.
Each TT/NACO park has a seperate name-Do you know what it is.
Pioneer Trails is in the south end of Anacorts, WA just off highway 20.
If I can be of further help let me know

No I noticed this campground while staying at the Naco resort. I just remember it being a nice looking resort.

They are maybe 10 miles apart. I believe the closest town is Snee Osh. Spelling might be wrong.

The site is about 3/4 of a mile from where Highway 20 does a 90-degree turn southwards and the 20-spur goes west into Anacortes. It's about 1/8 mile west of Highway 20.

The campground on Snee-Oosh Road is a Thousand Trails resort, I thought. It's on the oppostie side of Similk Bay from Thousand Trails, off Resrvation Road, which goes from Highway 20 towards LaConner just after the twin bridges over the Swinomish Slough.

Thousand Trails has a good reputation locally, but since it's only 4 miles or so from home, we've never stayed there - a bit like hauling coal to Newcastle.

As a local, I'd be happy to develop a series of suggestions for day (and shorter) trips. There are some really neat places to visit less than 20 minutes from the CG, and a lot more if you're interested in going half a day away. How many folks are interested in hiking nature trails? We have an abundance around town.

I'll put my thinking cap on and amke some suggestions in the next few weeks.

The phones must be open. Joyal, has made the first reservation. I'm sitting in a freightliner dealer waiting for the doors to open in the morning to have a recall completed.

When I get home 1/3/11 I'll be dialing in for my spot. Save me a pull thru yall don't want to see me back in. To many insurance claims.

Jack:

We won't be booking a site. It's only sbout 3 miles from home, so spending the site fee doesn't make a lot of sense. I will be involved, but not on site.

I'm working up a list of places to visit, for folks from out of the immediate area. I plan to divide the places up into "< than 10 miles", "10 to 50 miles and ">50 miles" each way.

I'd be interested to know what proportion of potential visitors are likely to have a toad, since a lot of the places can't handle large vehicles (> 20'). I plan to identify the places that need a toad to make a good visit.

I hope to have a good list to post in a couple of weeks.
