I just posted in another Cat. Perhaps I should have found this one first; however, I will be traveling out west this year and am trying to schedule a time frame for being where and when. My question - The best months for visiting Washington and Oregon, Any feedback will be appreciated.

Haven't looked at the maps on how to get to left coast from the 4-corners area but I have found that if you can get to US 101 in the vicinity of Willetts, CA or even Eugene, OR off I-5 to Florence, OR on US 101, you are going to have great weather during July-September. I-5 in Oregon can be hot in the Summer, a little less so in WA. US 101 from northern CA, through OR and WA should be pleasant. Eastern OR and WA are high desert areas and HOT during the summer and into September. The Portland and Seattle areas are great destinations if you haven't been there. They are both good jumping off places to head back to the East Coast. Have Fun!
