Unless we want to start a site poll, maybe just a quick preference from those watching these threads will pin down the location and time:
Choose your top 1,2,3 from list below:
Location: West Wash, Central Wash, East Wash, Oregon Coast, Portland OR Area, Columbia Gorge, Central Oregon, Northern Idaho
Date (weekend) Choose 1 & 2 choice : May 4, May 11, May 18, Sep 14, 21, 28
Based on the top votes for area and date, it then just narrows to the exact RV park.
Thoughts?

My preference choices would be:
Location: 1 Portland OR Area, 2 Columbia Gorge, 3 West Wash.
Date: 1 May 18, 2 Sep 14
If asked for a 4th spot, weather on OR coast can be wet in May, although lots of wet-weather things to do nearby.

I think Brazils in Chehalis would work very well. Another good place (but not free) is Silver Cove RV Resort on the way to Mt St Helens' out of Castle Rock WA.
Prefer May 11 or May 18th since we still have a 12 yr old in school.

We vote for Brazel's. Unless knee replacement gets in the way we will be there in May. We'll work around the date....not like we have to be anyplace

Only the May dates work for us.
Don't know enough about the area to choose a location except that Eastern WA seemed very flat and boring a few months ago on my trip from NY to Seattle (Via I-90)

Northwest Meet & Greet. 2012
Lets plan on May 11 till 14
Place: Brazel's RV Centralia Washington 3912 Harrison Ave.Centralia, WA98531
Send me an e-mail address, Names and number attending.
Be aware Brazel’s RV has water and electric, but no at site sewer.
As soon as I get a handle on how many coaches will be at the M & G I will call and reserve the spaces. Or I might drive up and talk to Jon.
Oh yea, the best part is Jon said we could use the park for free.
Get me some info ASAP and lets put a nail in the lid and we can start to make plans for fun

May 11, 2012, the DW "Pam" and I in our 34 ft Monaco La Palma will be there unless Mt St Helens erups again that week or some other natural wonder prevents it.
Thanks Larry, I have been waiting for this post....

We would love to join the group and make some new friends. Sounds like fun. Town and dates are good for us. We can live with no dump at the site. But...after emailing the contact for Brazel's RV park, and finding out today there is no cable TV, it's just a parking lot with grass spaces designed originally for folks having their RV's worked on next door, close to the road and railroad tracks, I think we'll have to pass. Don't mean to be a wet rag as we were really looking forward to a Meet and Greet in the NW, but even if the space is free, we don't want to hear the train and be w/o TV (yes, we're spoiled) after driving from So. Oregon. Perhaps another time....

How about we get your coach set up with a mobile satellite system while you are here?? Then you can get TV pretty much anywhere!

Since I will be officially retired the end of March, any date is fine and Brazel's is fine by me. Will send info with contact info.

DW (Pat) and I are in. See y'all then. Thanks Larry & Jon.
FYI, we will be heading to Yellowstone or Glacier NP when we leave, depending on weather. If anyone wants to join a mini-caravan, let us know.

Having spent many nights at the fairgrounds in Chehalis right alongside the railroad and having 4WD races going on at the same time we're used to it!!
Don't automatically reject campgrounds because they're next to a railroad, you'll probably cut out dozens of good spots.
