Refrigerator Swap-out

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some help here. I've got a friend in the area who bought a new fridge for his Monaco and wants to swap-out the old Norcold fridge. He's already purchased a new fridge (which has to go in through the windshield) and he is looking for a maintenance facility or dealership in the Washington Oregon area that can do this. If anyone knows of a repeatable place of business please let me know. Either just reply or send me a message, thanks.

Friend and I put a Samsung 197 into his Monaco. The old one and new one went through the side window. Took a pickup and four people to do it, but it wasn't hard.

Brazel's, right off of I-5 exit 88. No job too big or too small.

Brazels does woodworking and glass removal/replace? When we were there (several times) it didn't look like they were set up to do that stuff.

We were there last Friday looking at a Magna they have. Was very impressed with what they had and the quality of their work. Would definitely consider them, but not cheap at $115/hr.
If you have to have the windshield removed you will find that most places won't guaranty that they can do it without breaking it.

I'm looking also for someone here in The SF Bay Area. I was quoted &1500-2000, which is just too much right now. If we had younger men living in our park, I kmow we could do it ourselves, but my husband is 59 and they are way into 60, and 70's. I guess I will still need to go without Ice Cream, in my so small fridge.

Wow, I'm 68 now and when I helped Lloyd with his I was 67. He did sell the old one and a couple young (30's) guys showed up with a pickup truck. Between the four of us we put the new 197 in the PU bed and passed it through the side window. Went very easily and the only problem was I cut my hand on a sharp edge on the Samsung. We took out the side window of his Camelot rather than the front window. It was a perfect fit that way.

Fridge swap out

Thanks Me D. Rick would have no problem, but unfortunately the people around us would. Maybe I will find a place to post for some younger men to see if they could help out. Humm, I guess I will need to word the posting carefully. Lol

If you unhook the top hinge of the front door, remove the handrails and the passenger seat it can go in and out the door. You tie the door to the forward mirror, remove the doors and shelves from both refrigerators (you will have to do that anyway) then two can carry it in.

On our rig it was easy to remove a side window and lift it in. I instructed the delivery men to remove the refrigerator doors. Then we just lifted and transition thru the window.
