Thanks for the reply. We looked at a few spots at Lost Lake Resort but have read good and bad about it. Haven’t looked at anything in Pleasant Forest.

A friend of ours had a space in Pleasant Forest and was happy there. Lost Lake you are getting a deeded lot. Pleasant Forest you are getting a "membership" which is another term for a share in the corporation. In other words, you don't own the dirt, but you do own a fraction of the non-profit that owns the dirt. The end result is pretty much the same. You cannot, however rent out your lot in Pleasant Forest but you can in Lost Lake. I believe Pleasant Forest is less expensive. Lost Lake doesn't post their prices, which we didn't like. Pleasant Forest seems a lot more transparent. Good luck shopping for a lot.
