Well, Another year, another day. Who wants to go camping this year and when??? I think I still have a few gas coupons left???? I do not have a clue as to what or when except for the Tx/Ok Boomers event in Thackerville in May. Everyone should make plans to come down to Thackerville for this one. We really apppreciate Don Allen for fronting this event and doing all the leg work for it. Thanks Don!!!

With that said, if you want to go camping and would like some company let us know. Who knows, you might have a new camping buddy!

Mike, I guess thats up to you and the others.

As for me, I will wait until I can dewinterize somewhat safely. Besides, I couldn't get mine out now if I had to with all the limbs laying around. (not enough room) Hopefully by spring I can get it cleaned up enough. We will have plenty of firewood though.

Are ya offering?

Well, it would be nice but right now I have to cut the good stuff up and I don't have a place to stack and burn the rest until I burn my existing pile so although I appreciate the offer there's not a lot for others to do until I get the first part done. I figured I'd call in my son when I get ready to do the stacking and burning and let him help since I went down and helped him clean his up. Besides, I'm only good for about 4 hrs every other day, takes a day off to recover. But thanks for the thought.

Just wandering over in you guys neck of the woods once again. (OK Boomers Section) and just wanted to let ya'll know that I reconfirmed with Red River RV Park in Thackerville last week that we have 20 sites reserved for the 1st weekend in May. I'll put a sign up sheet up on the forum whe we get closer to the date. Really hope to see a bunch of Okie Boomers there this year.

Good deal Don, When you put a signup sheet together I'll shortcut it to this section too for max visibility. Come on warm weather!

Hi,
We are anxious to get started camping too.
Plan to go to the rally in Boerne, Texas next month.
Wanted to let you know that my mother passed away a week ago, we sure miss her. She had been really sick and in a lot of pain for about a month. I know that she is with the Lord now and no longer in pain so that does make it a lot easier for me.

So sorry to hear about your Mother. We are going through the same thing with my Mom now and know the pain. Our prayers to your family.

Oh Betty... I am so sorry to read about your mom, I know how close you are to her. As you know, I said "farewell" to my beloved mom last July. It certainly isn't easy, fact is... it was extremely hard for me as close as we have always been. Please know that my heart & prayers go out to you during this time. May your good memories sustain you while you adjust to life without her. Let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do for you, OK?

She is at peace, with the Lord, no doubt about it. Perhaps soon, she will meet up with my mom and they can tell stories about us until we can get there and defend ourselves.

Gentle, caring hugs.....and heartfelt condolences.

Thanks for the kind words. We know that she has gone to a better place.
She has no more pain and she can see now and
she told us she was tired and was ready to go home.
Hope to see you all at Thackerville in May.
Betty
