The 3rd annual TX-OK Boomers campout will be at the Red River RV Ressort in Thackerville, OK, May 1-3.

Dunno what happened but we got it covered now with a sign up here and in the OK Boomers Section. Thanks for posting it there.

We have 20 sites reserved at Red River and I will send them a list of rigs once we close the sign ups. We need at least 10 rigs to get the rally rate.

Everyone that signs up just check in at the office when you arrive and they will spot you to a site.

When we get closer to the camp out we'll make some final plans for meals etc.

Thackerville is a nice RV park, I really enjoy it. Don and Pat have done a fine job of putting on a great weekend for everybody that comes for this event. You all need to think twice before not coming to this campout, you WILL enjoy it. Post up and get with the program.

I am thinking for the Friday evening meal everyone will be on their own. The Win Star Casino has several eating venues and their buffet is pretty good. After dinner around dark we can gather at the park fire ring for a campfar. Bring your chairs and favorite beverage.

I am going to ask them if they can park us close to the fire ring this year as we probably won't use the rally hall.

For Saturday night how about I fire up the old weber about 6:00 PM and everyone bring their own meat to grill and a side dish or desert to share with all. We'll do this at the park fire ring area as well and have another camfar after dinner.

This park has one of the best nightly rates anywhere at $14 a night so come one out that weekend and have a fun camp out with us.

Yes, as much as I hate it sometimes these projects really screw up our camping but it is good to still get paid for now.
